Top 5 Series: Strawberry Hill
My very favorite part of my day is walking my little angels through my favorite neighborhood in KC. If you haven’t explored @strawberryhill_kck - what are you waiting for?! It’s a charming little neighborhood just west of the West Bottoms. I might be biased because I live here - but I think it’s a great place to explore.
1. 🍺@colonialclubkck : The brick wall in this picture belongs to them! A dive bar with great bar food. Plus it’s where my grandparents met and it’s 5 doors down from my house so you could say I LOVE it. Try the Shorty’s Pop Pizza - jalapeños, cream cheese, bacon and pineapple… need I say more?
2. ☕️ @splitlogcoffee : The cutest coffee shop in town (like I said, I’m biased) and they just had an expansion! It’s my favorite place to work from home when I need out of the house. Get the Strawberry Hill Latte!
3. 🍸 @themockingbirdkc : My very favorite patio in all of Kansas City! Views of downtown KCMO, amazing cocktails and delish food... what more could you want in a local bar?! Try the chorizo waffle and mockingbird margarita 🤤
4. 🥪 Breit’s Stein and Deli : Another dive bar makes the list, but this time for their Reuben. The very best in the city! Order a Reuben with a side of potato salad and your fave beer.
5. 🍕 @sarahsonthehill has some of the best casual Italian you can get. Try any of their pizzas or calzones or sandwiches (they’re all amazing) but my favorite is the meatball sub! Out of this world good 👽
