A follower of mine (shout out @lizziegraceless) gave me the BEST idea recently. She said for Galentine’s Day (Feb. 13th) she likes to support women owned businesses. She asked for suggestions and I knew this was the perfect list to crowdsource! So without further ado, here is the (ongoing) list of women owned businesses in KC that we can support this Galentine’s Day (and year-round, obviously!). The Arise Box (ONLINE): This is one of the subscription boxes that is taking KC by storm. The Arise Box comes with 4-5 full size items in their quarterly box. 10% of all of their proceeds goes directly to making care packages for human trafficking survivors in the US.
