Summer Bucket List 2019
Summer in Kansas City is one of my absolute favorite things. The city seems to come alive with outdoor music venues, rooftop patios, and days spent at the pool. To make sure I get the most out of Summer 2019, I wanted to put together a Summer Bucket List - keep me updated if you decide to follow along as well!

See a show at Crossroads KC. I have my eye on William Clark Green on July 12 and the Floozies on July 20. See their entire summer line up
See Shakespeare in the Park - such a cool experience we have right in the heart of Southmoreland! Shakespeare in Love runs from now until July 7th.
Play Art Course at the Nelson - the temporary mini golf exhibit with 9 beautifully designed holes. Tickets are $14 for adults and include equipment to play.
Go to Kansas City’s Big Picnic - July 21st - on the lawn at the Nelson. The lineup of food trucks and yard games is out of this world!
Enjoy cocktails al fresco at El Percheron - the rooftop of KC’s dreams at The Crossroads Hotel.
Plan a day trip to Weston - complete with a distillery tour, wine tastings, a trip to O’Malley’s underground bar, and a taxi home.
Finally check out SD Strong Distillery in Parkville, MO - a distillery in the caves!
Go to World’s of Fun/Ocean’s of Fun with friends for the first time in a decade.
Take a couple mini road trips - Starting with Bentonville, AR, Omaha, NE, and Flint Hills, KS.
First Fridays in the Crossroads - one of my favorite things about KC.
See a show or concert at Starlight! I am thinking The Head and the Heart on July 6 or A Bronx Tale in August or Greta Van Fleet in September!
Crossroads Brewery Crawl - I am going to put together a makeshift bar crawl for my friends and me! Anyone else want to join?
Local hikes - Going to put together a list of my favorites for the blog so comment with your suggestions!
Go camping for a weekend!
Try to learn how to play golf (you’re welcome, Dad!).
