Town Topic (Crossroads) - look, I am starting with the most obvious to get it out of the way. A town topic burger at 1am has saved me from SO many hangovers. I don’t know what it is, but a greasy burg from TT saves my Sunday mornings from my Saturday night over-indulgences every single time. The location at 20th and Broadway is open 24/7, so that’s typically my go to spot. Get the double cheeseburger with tots and thank me later. TownTopic.com @Town.Topic
Caddy Shack (Downtown) - If you haven’t had Caddy Shack pizza yet, get your a$$ there THIS WEEKEND. The sauce is a little sweeter than you are probably used to but this Sicilian Style Thin Crust is the PERFECT drunk food (and sober food, TBH). They serve food until midnight, so it’s great if you need a 4th meal before you ralley the rest of the night. Get the supreme pizza or the tenderloin sandwich. You can’t go wrong! Jerusalem Café (Westport) - A spicy gyro from J Café is my number one comfort food (especially after a night on the town!). Every time I go to Westport, I start thinking about when it’s acceptable to go order a gyro and take an Uber home. Order from their food truck for late night eats! Shorty’s Pizza at The Easy Inn (Strawberry Hill) - Fun Fact: my grandpa was the bartender at The ESY Inn in the 60s where he met my grandma. So I LITERALLY owe my existence to Easy Inn (the former ESY Inn and Colonial Club). Anyway, after going out in the Hill, swing by Colonial Club for the Shorty’s Pop Pizza (Basically a jalapeño popper pizza and it’s to die for) or the Jailbreak Sandwich which is a chicken finger sandwich and the fries it comes with are AMAZING. @TheEasyInnKCK
Corvino Late Night (Crossroads) - For you boujee types (it me, I’m boujee), check out the late night menu at Corvino (starts at 10pm). The menu rotates, but the burger and house fries are your required order! To drink, get a glass of red or a paloma and make an event out of your late night meal. Corvino.com @CorvinoKC
