Here’s what stood out during our stay:

One epic pool – This massive pool overlooks the resort’s private beach and includes a swim-up bar (hello, frozen drinks on repeat!). Whether you're lounging on the plentiful poolside chairs or splurging on a Bali bed with a beach view, it's relaxation central.

The coco station – We became obsessed with “coco locos” — fresh coconut cocktails that quickly became a daily must.

The food – Truly next level! Highlights included a ceviche-making class (best ceviche I’ve ever had), beachfront dinners, hibachi-style meals, and a private tequila tasting with gourmet pairings. Every bite was memorable.

Spacious rooms – Ours had two balconies and beds that were absolutely heavenly.

The people – Every single staff member was incredibly kind and welcoming — they made the whole experience even better.

This spot is perfect for families or couples. There’s a kids’ area by the pool to keep little ones entertained while the grown-ups sip on something tropical and soak up the sun.

Looking to truly unwind and recharge? I can’t recommend The Westin Puerto Vallarta enough — this resort is all about peace, beauty, and wellness. From the moment we walked into the indoor-outdoor lobby, I was smitten.

Here’s what made it magical:

Gorgeous lobby – Think lush greenery, open-air spaces, and total tranquility.

Two pools – One for quiet relaxation and another with a more energetic vibe (plus a swim-up bar!). You get the best of both worlds.

Beachfront access – Cabanas to chill in or options for ocean activities if you’re feeling adventurous.

Spa heaven – We did a couple’s massage followed by the cold plunge, hot tub, sauna, and steam room. It was divine.

Incredible food – We had some of the best tacos of our lives on site and took part in a mocktail class at the gorgeous bar, Flora (I even brought a new favorite recipe home!).
