Hangovers Are Over
Let’s talk about hangovers. As I have gotten older, my hangovers have gotten exponentially worse. I laugh at the version of myself in college who complained about being “so hungover” when all I had was a very minor headache. Now, if I go a little too hard on a Friday night, I am down for the count for the next 2 days. There are some mornings where I would give anything just to feel a little better. Enter: Drip IV Health, Kansas City’s mobile IV service. I had heard of “IV Parties” in New York, LA, or Austin but had never tried one myself. Drip IV Health has a team of Registered Nurses who will come to your house with the IV of your choice. Yes, you read that right! They come to you! And it’s not just for hangovers. They actually have specially formulated IVs for any situation - anxiety, athletic recovery, hangover, immune boost, and more.
Recently, I attended an IV party to see what all the hype was about and I have been hooked ever since! I ordered the “Good Mood” IV bag, and the nurses Danielle and Jerica explained the entire process to me from start to finish. One thing that sets Drip IV health apart is that they only use registered nurses, not just anyone in the medical field. I do not usually do well with needles, so it was nice to have two experts there to walk me through what was going to happen. I didn’t know what to expect from the “Good Mood” formula, but it was unreal! I walked through the rest of the day (and a couple days after) feeling much more positive and optimistic.
Typically, you would book your appointment through the Drip IV app or by calling your favorite nurse directly. You get to choose the type of IV, a particular nurse, a time and location for your appointment. The nurse shows up to your chosen location with everything she would need and you get to relax and refuel. Drip IV Health is revolutionizing the way we care for ourselves. Each bag is a unique combination of vitamins, minerals and peptides specifically targeting certain areas you would like to impact. Next up on my list is the immune boost IV and the anxiety IV. What bag would you try first?
